Older woman, younger man: Age is just a number : Mature Girls

People are accustomed to seeing older men with younger women. We’re not surprised to hear that so-and-so left their wife for their young cute secretary. When we see an older man walking down the street hand in hand with a younger woman, it draws no stares, no surprised looks. But if you reverse the situation, you’re going to get a different reaction—at least you used to.

In today’s society an older woman with a younger man isn’t quite as radical as it used to be. Nor should it be. Society has changed. How we live our lives, and what we want out of them, has changed. Women are independent, with their own careers, their own money, and their own opinions. Their role in society is no longer one of supporting their husbands and raising a family. At the age of thirty your average woman no longer has two or three children, they don’t stay at home and take care of kids and cook their husband’s meals. Today’s women are competitive, goal-orientated forces to be reckoned with, out in the world like everyone else fighting to achieve their dreams.

But still, some people can’t get their heads around why a mature girl can be attractive to a younger man—after all, they’re older, and their bodies aren’t as young or as firm. Why would a young man turn away from girls his own age for an older woman?

The answers are numerous and well founded.

1) Mature girls look great! Everyone is health conscious these days. People are going to the gym, eating better, taking care of themselves. Compare your average forty year-old woman today with a forty-year old woman fifty years ago and I guarantee you’re going to see a difference. The truth is that mature girls are staying in shape and attractive on a par with girls half their age. So sexually speaking, there isn’t anything to stop a younger man from pursuing a mature girl.
2) Experience, experience, experience. In general, mature girls are more comfortable with their bodies and with their sexuality. The timidity is gone: these women know what they want, and aren’t afraid to talk about it with their partners. Sexual confidence is a major turn on.
3) The games are over. Mature girls have been around the block. They’ve been in and out of relationships, broken up and been dumped. The college-era coyness is gone. Younger, more mature men say that this is one of the top reasons they prefer dating older women. There are no mind games. Mature girls tend to be more honest and straightforward, and by taking the games out of the dating process, the road is paved for a more sincere and long-term relationship in the future.
4) Confidence. Mature girls in today’s world aren’t afraid to approach younger men, or to at least be open to the idea. This has changed the dating dynamic entirely.
5) Stability. Older women have careers; they’re en route to achieving their goals. They’re not going back and forth between jobs, wondering what they want from life. This takes a lot of strain off of a relationship. Not all men want to be in charge of things anymore, either. The days of supreme male dominance are over. There are more and more men willing to play the role of stay-at-home dad. For younger men of this nature, an older and established woman is ideal.

So the next time you see a young man accompanied by an older, beautiful woman, don’t scratch your head and wonder why: the answer is clear!
