People in today’s hi-tech world of gadgets use cell phones, text messaging, computers, and e-mail to converse with one another. What ever happened to communicating the old fashion way? What happened to romance? How about turning off your cell phones and computers and getting out a piece of paper and a pen and writing your feelings in a relationship poem?
A relationship poem is a wonderful way of letting the person you treasure and adore the most in life know that you care. Words are a way of expressing your feelings and emotions that touch the heart. Relationship poems are an essential way of keeping the romance alive in a relationship. Poems are a reflection of your dreams, beliefs, and hopes. Surprise the one you love with your own relationship poem.
Maybe you just starting dating someone new and you really want to impress that person. You could send them a poem from the heart. Perhaps it could say something along the lines that every time you think of that person, you smile, and how that person just makes your day brighter.
Suppose it is your anniversary and you don’t know what to buy the person who has everything. Give your spouse something they don’t have and write a relationship poem. A husband can use poetry to express his feelings about his undying love to his wife on the occasion of their anniversary. He could surprise his wife with roses and his poem on a beautiful piece of paper and leave it for her in a special place when she awakens on the morning of their special day. It is sure to bring tears to her eyes!
How about a wedding poem? Instead of reciting the usual wedding vows that most couples usually choose, why not write each other a poem expressing your love for one another. Maybe you could include something expressing how the two of you will share your hopes and dreams together and how the other person changed your life. Now that would be romantic!
Here is a suggestion for those guys out there who are completely oblivious to that holiday that seems to come around the same time every year. Valentines Day. Instead of the usual flowers and chocolates. How about sending your loved one a real valentine. You’ve probably heard the old poem, “Roses are red, Violets are blue, Sugar is sweet and so are you!” You can make up your own poem. Tell her how sweet she is. Make up something fun. You’ll never be able to measure up the following years when you write her a poem.
Maybe you and your spouse had a disagreement and you’re not quite sure how to get yourself out of trouble. You could think of all the things that attract you to your wife. You could express all the things that you love about her. You probably don’t tell her often enough how much you appreciate her. It is always hard to openly communicate certain things to the ones you love, but putting those words into a poem would be much easier. You could sneak into the bedroom and leave your wife her love poem on her pillow. A wife could express those same feelings into a poem and maybe spray some of her perfume on the paper and sneak the poem into her husband’s lunchbox. Imagine his surprise after a stressful morning at work when he opens up his lunchbox and discovers your poem.
No matter what the situation may be, you could come up with a relationship poem to fit almost any situation. You should try it; you just make someone’s day.
